Update

Ok, I've been avoiding blogging. Yes, it's true. I knew I should update you all, but I just haven't done it. We've had a minor setback and C is back out in the field. We have pushed our move out by about 3 weeks, which is a little unsettling for me. The boys will miss the first 3-4 weeks of school and that just kind of upsets me. C thinks it's not that big of a deal, but being the girl that I am, I tend to worry about the emotional effects on the kiddos. I hated being the new kid. It only happened to me once, in the 2nd grade, but it really sucked. The white trash hillbilly kids were really rough on us and I hated everything about being the "new kid". All these years later, I just don't want my boys to feel that way. Ok, enough of that emotional stuff.

We have plane tickets! Well, actually an email stating we have reservations, but it's all the same. We arrive in "that place" on Aug 30. I'm so excited to move that I cannot contain myself. I'm packing, even though the movers will be re-packing my stuff, and painting, and sorting. My house is a mess! Anyone who knows me well, knows that this alone is enough to send me into a frenzy. I'm a complete control freak and disorganization is not my friend. We have plans to head down to TX to visit "the bugs" (the inlaws) and hang out a bit before leaving the country and I'm so excited to see them. I swear, there isn't a day that goes by that one of the boys doesn't ask "when are we going to see Bugga and Buggaboo??" Time is moving slowly in the kiddo world.

I haven't taken any pictures lately, and I know that's just wrong. Maybe I'll try to take some at the pool tomorrow. I've promised the boys some serious pooltime since they have been so patient with me. I will post pics soon, I promise.
